Jim Newman has 20 years of practical, hands on experience in food processing. His background in the areas of research and development, manufacturing, quality, and technical service allow for a comprehensive approach to both issues and opportunities.
His experience in working with customers ranges from small, family owned companies to the largest food companies in the country. Working across the U.S., he has developed contacts in numerous industries in over 38 states. His specialty is the baking industry, primarily sweet goods -- cake donuts, raised donuts, danish, cakes, muffins, food coatings, and specialty items. His experience in manufacturing also includes spray drying, enzyme modification, milk processing, butter manufacturing, flavor production, breadings, and encapsulation technologies.
A strong communicator from the production line to the boardroom, Jim has a track record of selling ideas that work to top management, and successfully implementing those ideas on the production floor.
He has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix with prior work in biology and chemistry. Jim is also fluent in Spanish.
